I was a bit taken aback at the thought of having SOME MAN choose what Alex would wear, but I am here to tell you… GO WITH IT!! I realized the clothes didn’t really matter because George isn’t shooting clothes, he is shooting the person within.

The day of the shoot... all I can say is WOW!!! I could hear him directing Alex from the front room and all I could think was..”If that was me back there and he were speaking to me like that, I’d feel beautiful!!” When the shoot was over and Alex came out…she was giddy!! She felt beautiful, like a model. She also felt like she had made a new best friend. I would wish the whole process from beginning to end on any teenager.

The end result speaks for itself. I would make the same choice again…as a matter of fact, when my son is a Senior, I will make the same choice again!!"

I LOVE the clothing from this senior portrait. Believe it or not, we created this image in my portrait studio. I am using a background I printed from an picture I took of some old equipment located on an abandoned floor inside a warehouse in Mckinney Texas. I love taking pictures of backgrounds in my travels and creating unique backgrounds for senior photography at my portrait studio in Denton, Texas.

Oh how I love the Smith Family of Argyle Texas. All three of their kids did their senior pictures at my studio. Katie was the third and full of spirit! They all went to Liberty Christian in Argyle Texas. Shooting on a white background is a photography technique I am known for. It is clean and modern with a fashion edge like the cover of Vogue. I like to show young ladies that they are indeed as beautiful as many model they have seen on the cover of Vogue.

I adore dancers. Believe it or not, I grew up a dancer! I think that background helps me with the delicate posing issues of photography - unstintingly knowing "that looks great" or "No, turn your wrist like this". If you do ballet and kept all your shoes from point, please bring them! Let's create a creative senior picture for you!

This edgy, unique senior picture from Southlake Texas was so much fun! Not everyone is the same and their uniqueness deserves to be celebrated through photography. This unique positioning, jewelry, composition, cropping, editing, ... makes this a creative senior picture!

an "on-location session" at my website. I placed her back into the tree during the fall and
this was their favorite senior picture. The color of her hair and the leaves!

I selected that necklace strategically too. It just works. The soft painting of her skin,
